In Perspective

File next to: Playboi Carti

Best work so far: Lonely, Out, Eye 2 Eye

Yung Bans is next up on the ‘Soundcloud Generation’ conveyor belt, having built his fan base steadily in the last 2-3 years, he’s been aided by collaborations with XXXTENTACION, Ski Mask The Slump God and most notably Playboi Carti on ‘4tspoon‘.

Bans’ flow is very similar to Playboi Carti’s particularly on ‘Eye 2 Eye’ where he protests ‘Plug’ at each interval, whether this is a good thing or not time will tell. With music out on Spotify and Apple Music, Bans has already “secured the bag” for 2018, add to this his addition to the Rolling Loud Festival lineup for Miami in May 2018 (a festival fast becoming world renowned for recognising Hip Hop’s next stars, see Uzi, Carti and Kodak on 2016’s lineup).

Bans has made a name for himself in the industry in a fashion where he sticks out more than his peers. When listening to Bans Vol 2 and Vol 3, one immediately becomes aware the quality of the music he produces and lyrical content is beyond the realms of Xans, beating hoes, and time wasting. His story is more of a battle cry for the young street soldier from Atlanta.

Whilst it’s difficult to predict his exact trajectory at this point, Bans’ potential is huge and has served up three impressive projects ‘Yung Bans‘, ‘Yung Bans Vol. 2′ and ‘Yung Bans Vol. 3’ so far, so watch this space is our advice.
